Every ritual begins with a conversation and ends with tea. In between, our therapists work slowly and intuitively, using locally grown oils and techniques drawn from traditions around the world.

A quieting scalp, face and temple massage with warmed oil, poured slowly. Wonderful for busy minds, tired eyes and restless sleep.

Volcanic Hot Stone
Smooth basalt stones, heated and glided along the body. The warmth melts deep muscle tension and lets the whole nervous system exhale.

Mānuka Aromatherapy
A flowing full-body massage with a blend you choose on arrival — grounding mānuka, uplifting citrus or calming lavender from Central Otago.

Herbal Compress
Steamed linen pouches filled with native herbs and ginger, pressed rhythmically into the muscles. Deeply warming on a crisp southern evening.

Finished your ritual but not ready to step back into the world? Or done a little earlier than your partner or friend? Stay a while. Our lounge is a quiet room in the same calm spirit — soft chairs, low light, a pot of kawakawa tea.
Tucked in the corner you'll find a couple of gaming machines — pokies if you're local, slots if you're not. A gentle way to pass ten minutes while you wait, with small stakes and no rush.
